We're Celebrating!

During the whole month of February Risas will provide FREE exams and X-rays to all children under the age of 18 to celebrate National Children's Dental Health Month. Any child who starts an orthodontic treatment in the month of February will be eligible for free retainers.

Educating Children

The American Dental Association started the campaign and we’re excited to continue the programming for February 2022. The ADA theme for this year is “Sealants Make Sense”.
"Sealants on permanent molars reduce the risk of caries by 80%,” Dr. Hilton said. "If your dentist recommends dental sealants, it is part of a comprehensive caries management approach. I am excited that this year"

Risas Involvement

For the past six years, Risas has partnered with schools to provide dental education, resources, activities, and dental goodie bags to help bring awareness to healthy dental habits during National Children's Dental Health Month. Teeth are meant to last a lifetime and a healthy smile is important for children’s self-esteem.

One of the main reasons kids miss school is due to a dental issue. It is important to educate children about oral health so they can develop healthy habits from a young age.
