When should my child first see a dentist?
By the first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth. Early visits are quick and gentle, and they help stop cavities before they start.
Do you accept AHCCCS for kids?
Yes. Risas Kids accepts AHCCCS (Arizona Medicaid) and most dental insurance, including Delta Dental, DentaQuest, MetLife, Cigna, Guardian and United Healthcare plans. See Accepted Insurance Plans
Does your team speak Spanish?
Yes. Our bilingual team can care for your family in English or Spanish at all three Risas Kids offices in Phoenix and Chandler.
My child is nervous. How do you help?
We explain each step in kid words, let them see and touch the tools first, and keep visits short. Parents are welcome to stay close the whole time.
What should I do in a dental emergency?
For a knocked-out tooth, a bad toothache or swelling, call our 24/7 Emergency Hotline at 1-888-395-3933. For trouble breathing or a serious injury, call 911.
