What is the Patient Portal?

Risas’ Patient Portal is a secure website that provides convenient, online access to your medical information. Using the portal, you can:

- Schedule new appointments

- Cancel or reschedule existing appointments

- View current, past and future appointments

- Access your account on your mobile devices

How can I create an account?

You can create an account by visiting the sign-up page, located here.

Can a minor create an account?

No. The current version of the Patient Portal does not allow minors to have their own account.

Can a parent or guardian schedule a new patient appointment for a minor?

Yes. A parent or guardian can schedule a new patient appointment for a minor as long as set-up was completed when the user made their account. Risas’ Patient Portal does not allow for parent or guardians to manage existing appointments for existing patients who are underage.

Who has access to my account?

The information in your Patient Portal account is viewable by you and authorized staff of Risas Dental and Braces. If you would like someone to have access to your records to help manage your care, you can sign a release to authorize a trusted individual to be set up as a proxy. Who do I contact for help?

If you have any issues scheduling an appointment or using the patient portal, please call (844) 651-5280 for assistance. If you are interested in your patient records, you can request them formally from [email protected]. Clinical questions should be directed to your dentist or orthodontist.

I would like an orthodontic consultation, what can I expect?

When you schedule an orthodontic consultation, you will first be seen by one of our general dentists to assess your current oral health, if you are eligible for braces, and what treatment may work best for you. We require all patients to have a cavity clearance before they can start orthodontic treatment. After you have been seen by a general dentists, we can help you schedule your visit with one of our orthodontists.
