Overview

Risas Dental serves our communities with free limited dental care each year on Labor Day. Since 2011, “Labor of Love” has been our way of giving back. On Monday, September 1, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (local time), participating Risas offices will provide free services on a first-come, first-served basis to patients who line up outside each office.

Risas will attempt to accommodate as many patients as possible but reserves the right to limit the number of available appointments or to refuse service to anyone. In no way does Risas guarantee that any patient will be seen by a dentist and provided free services. Patients may be refused limited service due to security concerns, limited availability, the complexity of the dental work needed, overall healthcare risks associated with any dental procedure, scheduling needs, resources, time limitations, and other reasons. Patient accepts and understands that some dental procedures may be outside the scope and capacity of Dentist to provide procedures offered for free, for example some procedures require a specialist and specialty services are not provided on Labor of Love.

Selection Process

• Patients will be received on a first-come, first served basis.

• Capacity varies by location and staffing. Lines may close early once capacity is reached. Risas is estimated to see 50 - 80 patients per office; actual numbers may vary.

• If capacity is reached before 8:00 AM (local time), patients arriving after capacity has been met and before 8:00 AM will be scheduled at a later date to receive the free treatment. Appointment must be made before December 31st.

• Risas reserves the right to use any criteria it determines in its sole and complete discretion in selecting the patients eligible for free dental services.

• Risas asks all patients to recognize the limitations Risas has based on time and resources. Each patient has unique dental issues and may be ineligible for limited services.

Photography and Recordings

By participating in Labor of Love, waiting in line, or receiving limited services, you give Risas Dental permission to use photos, film, or recordings you appear in for marketing purposes.

Limitations on Dental Procedures

If selected, each patient may receive one of the five single-visit options, based on the dentist’s clinical judgment and available time:

• Basic cleaning

• One simple filling

• One simple extraction

• Exam and X-ray

• Orthodontic consultation

Risas will not provide treatment beyond these limits. Risas may refer out or deny treatment even if a patient appears eligible for a listed service. Patients who miss their assigned time may forfeit free services so others can be seen.

Locations

Not all Risas locations will participate. Risas may postpone or cancel any location’s participation and will make reasonable efforts to inform the public of changes. Risas is gifting free services and may rescind them at any time with or without notice. Risas Dental reserves the right to cancel Labor of Love at any time, for individual offices or overall.

Please be respectful to other participants and to all Risas doctors, teammates, and staff.

Orthodontic Case Giveaway

Participating centers may award one complimentary case of Traditional Orthodontic Treatment at their discretion.

• No purchase necessary. Ortho consult must be chosen as one of the selected services to be selected for the giveaway. Void where prohibited.

• Eligibility and selection are determined by the center’s clinical and operational criteria. Candidate must be dentally and medically suitable.

• Prize covers standard traditional braces and routine visits. It does not cover retainers beyond the standard set, lost or broken appliances, non-covered procedures, or treatment at non-participating locations.

• Prize is not transferable, substitutable, or redeemable for cash.

• The center may require identity verification and a publicity release as allowed by law.

• Odds depend on the number and suitability of candidates at that location.
