Ceramic Braces, also known as “Clear Braces,” use tooth-colored brackets made of a specialized material called polycrystalline Aluminum oxide (alumina). Some individuals prefer these brackets as they tend to be less noticeable and much more subtle than traditional metal braces.
Ceramic braces work in the same way that traditional metal braces do and consist of brackets, wires, bands and elastics. Ceramic brackets do tend to stain easily, so taking extra care to avoid dark beverages such as coffee, tea and red wine is important to maintain their subtle appearance.
These tooth colored, specialized brackets will cost slightly more than the traditional metal ones, but at Risas Dental our prices are guaranteed to be lower than our competitors and fit easily into your budget. If needed, you can pay as little as $125 a month with our in-house payment plan program.
